Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great colour but spoils quickly Great colour, however very thick in the bottle and only a few uses out of it before the brush clogged up and became thick and chunky to apply. Product also chips easily for how thick the paint itself actually is. However, for how chunky and thick it is, the polish dries fairly smooth....

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love it WITH a top coat Love the color with a top coat It really brings out the other colors when it's shiny. But it does chip soo easily.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Coat couture chips almost instantly I've love the matte finish & colour but it chips & peels almost immediately. I even tried the Essie gel top coat to prevent peeling, which changed it from matte to glossy and it still peeled.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Colour! When Essie came out with this collection, I was intrigued and went out and bought all of the polishes. This is the first of the 6 that I have tried and I have a few thoughts. There is no doubt about the colour; it is absolutely gorgeous worn both matte and shiny (I personally prefer the latter). However the formula wasn't that great. The polish was fully opaque in 2-3 coats (it was very streaky) and it dried down so quickly that it didn't have time to level out on my nail, leaving some nails looking bumpy/clumpy, even after topcoat. Overall though, I knew what I signed up for when I purchased a polish with a matte formula, and I know that I'll just have to be a little more careful with my application. I am no where near disappointed with the product at all and I look forward to making use out of the rest of the collection

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of Essie's loveliest shades. I've had my eye on this color ever since the Cashmere Matter collection came out. I bought this in the summer, and didn't really feel like I could get away with wearing it until the fall. Yesterday, I was finally able to put it on and OH, MY GOODNESS! This has to be one of the most beautiful polishes I've ever put on in my life. I'm a huge fan of grey polish: the grey with the extra punch of purple added a lot of personality to this polish that I just adore. Then, when you're in bright lighting or sunlight, the blue micro shimmers stand out, adding an extra level of loveliness. I will say that I put a shiny top coat over this, simply because I'm not a huge fan of matte finishes, but I really wanted this polish to see how the color itself would look. I think having the top coat will really help with the wear of the polish, so try a matte top coat if you still want to retain the matte finish. I know this polish has gotten a lot of grief for chipping, but most matte polishes are notorious for chipping extremely quickly. The blue shimmers are much more evident with a shiny top coat, however. This has to be one of the prettiest greys Essis has ever made, and they already do grey polishes really well. It's the perfect fall/winter color!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from U-G-L-Y! Without a doubt the worst color ever! It looked like a baby got loose with a gray magic marker.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible wear I applied this yesterday afternoon, using a 3rd coat of the color as a top coat as suggested on the website. As of this morning, 4 nails were chipped, and as I work today big strips are scraping off. It's as if I painted my nails with a thin layer of chalk. Essie is and has been my favorite nail polish for years (bring back Backgammon Bronze, please!), and this matte color is really not worthy of the Essie name.
