This polish was horrible. It was streaky, blotchy and gloppy. Can’t see wearing this at all and frankly will probably throw out this brand new bottle that I just purchased. please bring back Sheers to You.

My go-to polish

This is my go-to polish that I use most often (and have for the past 7ish years) and I usually have no fewer than 3 bottles at home. I loved the semi sheer white color but sadly they discontinued the white so I now use the blush color. My nails are overall healthy but I am not very careful with my hands so I experience a lot of breaking when I bump into things and peeling at the ends. This nail polish helps a lot with both those issues and I notice my nails are significantly weaker when I spend a week wearing another ‘normal’ polish instead of the Treat Love Color. You do have to put 3 coats to get really full coverage but once it’s on and dried my nails are thick and hard as rocks!! I get about 10 days of wear with this before it’s chipping enough to take it off and reapply. Since this is a neutral color for my skin tone, it’s also a great base coat to get some strengthening when I want a different color on my nails.

I've used Essie TLC in the past and have loved the outcome, but the product I just bought a week ago (In a Blush) was very streaky and blotchy when I applied it. I prepped my nails as usual and shook the bottle but very disappointed in the finished look.

I see some older reviews about the product peeling off within just a few hours, no matter the way of application. The same happens to me, I have purchased other TLC products as well, the coloured ones do well, on the contrary the gloss fit seems to be a flop. A bummer!

Bought this thinking it would be a pretty sheer pink ish color. Do not waste ur money. I have yet to find one of these “treat love color” shade that actually apply nice. The brushes are inconsistent. Some are wider (which are amazing). Some are so skinny it likes painting ur nails with toothpicks. And the color application is a nightmare. Streaky. Uneven. Nope. I miss the early 2000’s essie. This was my last time buying essie From someone who raved about them for the past 20yrs. Find some consistency. I find it hard to believe at almost $10 a bottle no one checked these polished. And this line

Great color & stopped my nails from flaking

I love essie, but for some reason have never tried their “treat love color” line until now, and I’m glad I did. This nail polish lasted a surprisingly long time, not chipping until day 6 of wearing it. After a little over a week the polish started to kind of bubble under my nail which must be specific to the formula, because it’s never happened with any of my other essie nail polishes. This wasn’t a problem for me though, because I had already started to get tired of the color. The color is very pretty, but also quite sheer, so I’d recommend adding three coats if you want it to be opaque. I definitely noticed a change in my nails after removing the polish. I usually have weak, flaky nails, which is a shame because I love wearing polish. Now I won’t have to worry about sacrificing healthy nails for style! My only complaint is that I wish they had more colors!
