I’ve worn this color for many years. It was my absolute favorite—the most beautiful color of baby pink. I got tons of compliments anytime I wore it. Last year the color was changed to a very vibrant Chiclet type of pink, borderline neon with pale white skin. If you love this color previously, never buy it again. If you haven’t tried it, I don’t recommend it unless it’s summer and you’re looking for something screaming pink and have a deep tan or darker complexion.

Salon quality color, always get compliments when I wear it. Only downside is it takes 3 coats for best results. 2 coats and the vibrancy fades and goes dull pretty fast. For a saturated, gel polish look, it’s great. I will now try more from this line from Essie.

I currently have two colors from this line, Haute To Trot and Jewels And Jacquard Only, and I wish I had tried the Gel Couture line sooner. This formula is not too thin and not too thick, perfect middle ground.

I had high expectations for this nail polish. The bottle is stunning and the color is gorgeous but the nail polish is trash. This is by far the WORST nail polish ive ever used. When it dries down it always ways has air bubbles and never a great coating. I thought that this was just due to my poor technique but I had a friend tried and she said the same thing. I do not recommend.

We want to understand what happened just as much as you do...The gel couture shade "haute to trot" is applied with no base coat and in 2 coats should dry to a perfect lavender rose cream. Give the color a few minutes to set and seal with the gel couture top coat for a long wear manicure. I'm a nail polish connoisseur. I have hundreds of nail polishes. I've tried pretty much every brand on the market, and after the first time using Essie Gel Couture, I never use any of my old polishes anymore. I have thin nails that bend and break and split easily, and I normally only get 1 day of chip-free wear when using my next best polish. Interestingly, Essie regular polish has one of the worst track records in my book. But with Essie Gel Couture, I get at least 5-6 days of beautiful wear. It's sad to let all my old favorites go to waste, but I'll never go back. I also occasionally use LED gel polish at home, but that is labor-intensive and time-consuming. Essie Gel Couture comes off easily with nail polish remover and it actually dries more quickly than standard nail polish - I can even paint my nails shortly before bedtime and my polish doesn't get squashed like standard polish would. My only complaint is that the vivid colors stain my nails (even darker pinks do), but honestly it's well worth the sacrifice. Cheers!

This is one of my favorite colors from the Essie gel couture line. It's a nice vibrant pink but still somewhat more subtle than the brights collection. I really love the color but other shades from their line typically last longer on my nails. This color I usually need 3 coats, so it only lasts about a week before lifting

Love the brush and color. I'm not sure the claim of 14 days is valid, since mine chipped within a few hours from just keyboard work. I tried again a week later, and it did the same thing. Seems like a nice idea, but not as long lasting as they claim.

This polish is awesome. I am a convert from OPI !!! It stays so much better/ just two steps and lasts longer. Stays shiny! Love more subtle pinks. Wish Essie would make the gel in more pinks like"Raise Awareness" or "Hard to Get". Thanks!

A basic mani that lasts

My nail salon started carrying this line a couple months ago and I decided to stray from my usual, and very expensive, powder gel. I was happy and pleasantly surprised by the durability of this polish! Lasted with minimal chipping for about 2 weeks and I'm pretty rough on my hands always being in the gym. Would highly recommend this to everyone, especially someone like me accustomed to spending $35+ on manis, now only $10!!! Awesome job Essie!

I received this sample from PinchMe and have to say, I really like it. I'm a fan of Essie products but hadn't heard of this line before. I received Caviar which is a dark blue color. I was traveling to Seattle and Vancouver, BC so I was afraid to try it but took a chance and tried it anyway.
The color was a bit thick but went on well once I got used to it. I'm extremely hard on my hands and that combined with travelling caused a very slight bit of chipping on the 3rd day. I was able to fix it easily, though. I probably could've gotten away with it but I'm a little OCD so...Overall, this was a winner and I look forward to trying more colors.

I was sent this as a sample to try from PinchMe. The color wasn't my favorite, but the polish is great. I used it on my toes, as I don't mind the darker colors on my toes. Goes on easily, long wearing. i will definitely be getting this is a color that is more me, I prefer the softer colors n my fingers.

I received a sample of the color and the top coat from #PinchMe. I have to say this is absolutely the most amazing nail polish I have tried. I work hard, I play hard, and I clean hard and I am super rough on my nail polish and this held up to all of it and lasted almost an entire 2 weeks with the only bare nail being the new growth. It did ware a tiny bit around the edges of my nails but like I said I am tough on my nails with all that I do. I will definitely continue buying and using this nail polish and with all the amazing colors and how long it lasts it is well worth every single penny.
