I was excited to try this new polish. I love the color and it applied very easily. It looked nice on my nails. What I was anxious to see is if it will last 14 days. It did chip on one nail after 2 days. The other nails lasted about a week with very minimal wearing off. The polish did remove easily. I received a sample of this polish from pinchme.com, but my review is my own. I received a light blue color of nail polish. It was a fun bright color! The bottle was easy to hold and the brush was great at getting coverage on the full nail with one or two swipes. I did two layers of color and the top coat. Drying time was fairly quick, and there was no smudging. I found that the gel went on smoother than a typical nail polish. It only lasted about three days before it began to chip. Overall, I liked the ease of use and quicker application time due to a larger brush, but it lasted about as long as a typical nail polish.

I received a sample of the Essie Nail Polish. The color was a dark blue and not my choice. I tend to like more traditional choices but tried it anyway. The bottle size is nice for holding while doing your own nails. Easy to open cap. I tried the polish on my fingernails which are acrylic. The polish glided over the nail in an easy fashion as the brush tip on this polish seemed much larger than previously. Two easy strokes and the nail was covered. I allowed a few minutes for the polish to dry and saw the blue needed an extra coat. With 2 more coats and drying time in between, I had a completely covered set of nails. Seemed to be standard drying time and after it dried, I had no issues with smudging. I am very hard on my nails with typing, outdoor activities and cleaning. The polish did start to come chip off after about 2.5 days. I enjoy doing my nails but am not interested in continuous upkeep. While the polish seems industry standard, I will probably continue to go to the salon to have my nails done. This polish was everything it promises to be. It stayed on my nail, without chips, for about 2 weeks. It's easy to put on, and I lived the color I tested. I was given this product to free in exchange for my honest opinion.

I have three other colors of the Essie Gel Couture polish and I love it, but the 4th color is awful. Not the color itself, but the fact that it stained my nails kind of an orangy-pink and I can't get it out. I only left it on for 3 days so it's not like it should have stained. Also since taking it off my nails are drier than usual. In addition to the Gel nail polish I must have 30 colors in the standard polish and I've never been this disappointed.

I received this polish and top coat for free as part of the PinchMe sampling program, but my review is my own. I love the bigger, thinner brush that's part of this product. It was very easy to cover my nails in one to two swipes, and I felt like it was easier to control. I also loved the color saturation and felt like two coats was enough to get balanced, deep color. I am hard on regular nail polish; it typically chips off in a day or two. I was hoping that this would really last longer, but I found that it chipped within 2-3 days and have to be removed. I will definitely continue to use, but I don't feel like it had any better staying power than regular nail polish.
