[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a loyal Essie user. This is my first time using the expressie formula. I like it a lot. I did use a base and a top coat with it even though it says you don’t have to. It has a decent shine without a top coat but looks better with one. The brush is really interesting i like that is large and angled makes it easy to use for fingers. A little harder to use for toes since it’s kind of big. Overall i would buy this again. Only negative is it’s the same price as a regular bottle but less volume inside. Maybe because of the brush? I got the color previous cargo-go which is not listed

I wanted to get them all together, but it was my first time trying this brand. (I have to say Essie is way better than other expensive brands of nail polish) I enjoyed applying it on my toe nails and hands. It just needs one layer and dry so fast so I don’t mess up my nails this time !! I love it. It’s shinny and bright nail polish. I have to say too in the third day starts chipped but I guess I need a coat next time

Perfect for when you’re in a hurry! Cute and colorful options are available but this one is my favorite, especially for fall. My only complaint is that it chipped pretty easily.

This has been the only product I’ve used that dries insanely fast without feeling cheap. I’ve had mine on for the last few days and they haven’t chipped at all! Very impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took the opportunity to try this polish because I was interested in the “quick dry” claims. Upon first application, you can tell this formula is different from regular polish. It’s very thick which can lead to a goopiness since it starts drying down immediately. This also makes it difficult to work with as you add coats, because it doesn’t always even out the way regular polish does. If you make a mistake or bump your nail, it can cause patchiness or texture when you go over with the next layer. The quick dry is relatively quick, sure, but it still takes about 15-20 minutes before you’re safe to start using it. The first time I used it, I messed up my thumbnail after 5 minutes, and it was impossible to fix in a pretty way because the original layers were already quite dry. The end result wasn’t pretty, and it was the first area to chip within 24 hours. My second try went better. I liked this color better than the one with glitter in it (virtual velocity). Overall I like these polishes, and they’re good in a rush, but I would rather take the time for a regular polish that is less finicky.

After three days, each of the colors looked freshly painted, even though I was doing normal household chores (washing, cleaning, etc.). Dark colors do not discolor the nail and do not stain the cuticles when washed off. Aesthetic, rectangular packaging, which makes it convenient to store. A beautiful shade, perfect for fall!

It didn’t smear or smudge. By the time I was done with my second hand my first one was completely dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This expressie line is great. For me, it’s not AS good as the gel couture, but it is better than any regular polish I’ve used. I’ve been using this formula for a while now and I’ve had a lot of luck with it. It dries pretty quickly and the top coat doesn’t lift the bottom coat as much as the gel couture can if you’re not careful. The brush is easy to use, plus it’s nice and fat. I don’t see chipping or cracking until at least day 3 for this formula, which I think is pretty good considering how rough I am on a manicure.

This makes a big difference! The brush is flat and wide but not too wide. Perfect for getting in the edges. The polish also slides right on with a nice formula that allows you to brush it on thoroughly. I did use a top coat to make it shine. I used the Salley Hansen Quick dry. I am looking forward to seeing how long the polish will stay on before it cracks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color isn't my favorite but the other colors were sold out. I was really wanted to try the formula so I got this color. I really like the formula. The other polish brand I typically use can be opaque after 2 coats and this took 3 but I don't mind the extra layer. It says you don't need a top coat but I can't not use one so I did. It has lasted a week with minimal chips. I'm super hard on my nails and was super impressed. If the other brand I use more doesn't have a color I need, I'll definitely check to see if expressie has it.

The color sat looking pretty dull and the brush was just to bushy as opposed to kept together. I personally love all the colors that were put out but don’t find them to be products I’d buy again.
