I bought this on Amazon and actually complained to them that I thought it was fake, that is how bad this formula is. It's goopy but sheer, taking more than 3 layers for full coverage and even then it's not uniform and

I'm a huge fan of Essie and own many of their polishes, so it's not like this is my first bottle of nail polish. While I loved the color, the polish was streaky, difficult to apply, and chipped very easily. By Day 1 my polish was chipped on multiple nails. By Day 4, it was peeling off my nail completely. This particular formula needs to be reworked or something.

I try all brands of nailpolish & normally not into purples. However, I became a convert after trying this color. A+ adored it until I noticed how difficult it was applying. Pooling & streaking. Time consuming & challenging.I hope they improve the formula.

The color builds up ok but it was very streaky and a horrible formula overall. Way too thick and streaky.

This was a color I mostly bought because I love sales but I was so happy with the color. It's deeply saturated and simultaneously a near-neon. Very bright pigment and really flattering, I always stare when I wear it. HOWEVER. This is a tough formula to work with because it pulls (and pools) very easily. If you don't have experience painting your nails regularly you will probably have difficulty getting this to apply evenly. Your patience and thin layers are required.

I love love love this color but it's awful to put on. I've had it since it came out and it has never been right. I returned it once because I thought there was something wrong with the first bottle. I guess I was right and there's something wrong with all bottles after reading all these reviews almost 2 years later. Makes me so sad because I love the color. Very disappointing.

I almost didn't buy this because of the negative reviews, but I'm glad I did. The color is so perfect - bright, bold, and flattering - and I couldn't find anything similar from Essie or other brands. The first coat was a little uneven but I had it looking perfect on the second coat without much trouble. It doesn't last as long as other Essie colors, which is why I subtracted one star.

I absolutely LOVE the color, but the formula for this particular polish is absolutely horrible. I'm a huge Essie fan and have well over 60 Essie polishes and I had never been so disappointed in one of their polishes. I thought I was the only one having problems with it thinking I just got a bad bottle, but after reading the other reviews I see that's not the case. The formula is very thick and goopy, like an old bottle of polish. I tried doing thin coats, I tried doing thick coats and it just wouldn't work. Any way you do it you'll end up with it being patchy and with bubbles. If you do one coat and try to even it out with a second coat, the brush just seems to drag the first coat off your nails leaving behind a mess. Also, it chips very, very easily. Didn't even last 24hrs. I had such high hopes for this one since the color is stunning. I feel like this one was a waste of money. Hopefully they'll fix the formula soon.
