Fantastic fall color. Just bought it today. Base coat, two color coats and Essie top coat, and the color is sensational! Debated between this color and SweaterWeather, but the dark green was too lovely to pass up. Beautiful gold paired with dark green.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the High Voltage Vinyl fingernail polish. It has a very unique color that i haven't seen in a fingernail polish before. I love the fact that it drys quick and doesn't smudge. I like that it only takes one coat over my nails to get the right darkness and shade of it. I don't have to put on a clear coat over it it already has the perfect shine without the clear coat. I highly recommend this product.

I ended up really loving this color. I didn’t think I would like it but once I put it on my toes, I fell in love. I get a lot of compliments on it. I love it bc it’s so different. I tend to go for dark colors but when I saw green with gold, I really didn’t think it would look good but it’s great! I’m a nail tech & have talked people into trying it.

Perfect Pre-fall colors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This collection of polishes is beautiful and the perfect mix between grunge and glam. High vintage vinyl is a lovely olive green with gold shimmer and in certain light it looks almost brass. I’m a sucker for metallics so this color is right up my alley. I have pale skin so it appeared quite dark on me, but I had no problem with that. Feelin’ amped is a deep blue, almost on the verge of teal. I found it to be more wearable than most blue shades. And off the record is a lovely berry, that almost looked ox blood against my skin tone. Not mad at that! I’ve always been a fan of Essie and the formula of these did not disappoint. I did two coats but for the berry and blue you could probably get away with just one…they are that opaque! Overall this collection has a super fun music inspired grunge feel. And the perfect colors to take you from summer into early fall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super cute color for fall, and I love green. It can be fall or Christmas. It stays on pretty well, it didn't chip for a few days, however I wash alot of dishes, shower myself and 3 kids so I think it held up pretty well. I personally did 2 coats but you only needed 1.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Essie nail polish in the color, High Voltage Vinyl is such a pretty Fall color! The color actually applies darker than I expected - which was a happy surprise, because I love moody colors during Fall. And the gold pearl finish looks stunning in the sunlight! The only reason I knocked off a star is because I had to apply 3 coats to get an opaque, non-streaky finish.

Hi there Martin! We wish you could see the results you were hoping for with the essie color “high voltage vinyl”. This onyx green with gold pearl should flow easily onto the nail bed. With a base coat, 2 coats of color and a top coat, your mani should last for at least a week.

To me the color appears between a deep gold shade or an olive/army green depending on the light. It is a great shade for all year round, but it’s especially perfect for the upcoming fall season.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great, unique fall color. This applied evenly and smoothly. 2 coats for full coverage, just to be safe, but it looked great at just 1 coat. It dried pretty quickly and did not smudge once set. I am hard on my hands and did not find this to chip at all even without a top coat. I got so many compliments so far as it really is eye catching.
