[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this color in my Influenster VoxBox with the Gel top coat. It's a fine polish - lasted a very long time, didn't chip until Day 9! I wasn't too sold on the color. It's just okay, if not a little bit boring. I thought it went on my nails really well, very saturated color after 2 coats, but I'm used to greys and blacks or designs so it wasn't as blingy as I'm used to. I've only had the nail polish about a month though and it's already separated a lot - looks pretty bad. Maybe if I used it once a week it wouldn't do that, so it could just be my fault? I'd buy this polish again in another color definitely.

The bottle is a little awkward to hold, but I love the brush! I’m a teacher, so it’s hard to find polish that will last all day. This polish lasted a week and a half without chipping! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn't a color I usually go for but after wearing it for a week, I actually like it now. You can't really see it in the picture but this polish has a very pretty light sparkle to it which I love! I used two coats like suggested and I think that is enough and I did 2 coats of the top coat. It was easy to apply and dried kind of slow but most polishes do. I wore it for a week and only had one small chip. Would definitely try more colors of the same type of polish. I received this free for testing purposes.

The drying seemed like forever but when it dried it was well worth the wait! I did the two coats and the coverage was good. I am at the end of day 9 and it still looks like it did the day I applied it! I did receive this product for free but the opinion is my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My fingernails are in transition, from stilettos to normies. It’s been a while since I haven’t had acrylic nails and my fingers feel short and naked lol! It’s just an expense I can’t afford right now. However! I got a chance to try this polish on my fingers instead of my toes (which I had originally planned to do). After just taking off my acrylics, my nails are super textured, thin and definitely in need of some assistance lol! These polishes come with a really nice, flexible brush that coats your nails easily in two swipes and has a really nice salon style gel couture finish without having to use a UV lamp. It does dry quickly tho so I would suggest only doing two, maybe three swipes and letting completely dry before adding another layer of color. I think I added too many layers too quickly so there are a few ripples and brushstroke textures in mine right now. I will update if there are any other pros/cons after I repaint them in the future. It’s described as a pearlized nude griege but it does come out a lot lighter in color on the nail than in the bottle. It’s almost an off white with a touch of grey and a little bit of a silver iridescent hue. It’s a very pretty neutral and delicate color and I can pull it off even though I’m used to wearing darker colors. All in all, I think the color is really pretty and not something I would normally pick out for myself. From the quality of this one, it makes me want to try one from the Treat Love and Color line to help my nails get stronger! There are over 100 other colors for me to choose from tho so... :D and they can be found at a bunch of stores with a fair price for a good quality polish. I highly suggest you go check them out at your local drugstore. Thank you Essie for sending me these complimentary polishes to try! They... came in handy. Heh.

I wash my hands A LOT and normally my polish chips but this stays on. I will definitely purchase more shades. Plus this shade is very opaque.

After having it on my nails for just 2 days so far, I've gotten so many compliments! It's the perfect greige! The brush was amazing. Super easy application and a 2 coater for good measure. This was my first color in this line and I would definitely consider picking up other colors! So perfect for having in my day to day arsenal. Paired with the matching top coat, this is a super shiny gel like manicure. It doesn't have the traditional hold of a gel, but makes it last longer throughout the week. Although I received this product free for testing I'd definitely buy this again!

I’m really rough on my hands/nails and most polishes will only last a day or two without chipping, but this polish system gives me five to seven! I like to change my polish up all the time, but I keep coming back to this shade. It’s a nude for my skintone but it’s got that beautiful pearl shimmer to it that makes it interesting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Make The Cut is a gorgeous color! I don’t typically reach for nudes, so I was pleasantly surprised how much I like it! However, this is the second Essie product I have tried and I’m really not totally sold. This was my first time trying Gel Couture. I thought the formula would be thicker, however it was same thickness as a regular laquer. The brush was the same as well. I am really not a fan. I feel like it’s too harsh. It doesn’t apply very well. I feel like there are always streaks. This is my main problem. I also have to say that the Gel Couture formula doesn’t last any longer than a regular lacquer formula unfortunately.... I received this product complementary for my honest review.

I never paint my nails because of chipping, but gel manicures get too expensive and I hate the removal process so I typically refrain. I can’t wait to see how these last and also that the removal is easy! The application brush itself is incredible. I’ve never been able to put polish on SO easily with no mess on my cuticles. The polish dries in a decent amount of time and seems to be of a good consistency. I am not a huge fan of the color, though. It’s kind of like a gray, white color but it’s too light for me.

My nails grow fast. The shade is a grayish nude with a shine. It is very beautiful for everyday classic look. It goes with everything. Only 4 because the color is just okay in my personal option. The last is awesome for a busy mom and school nurse. I am always washing my hands and I'm not easy on them either. I get fake nails and within days I have popped off at least two if not more. This nail polish lasted. I will by getting different shades.

The brush came out smoothly and after applying 3 coats I felt the color was evenly distributed. The color almost has a slight purple tint to it which I loved. Overall, a great color for everyday use! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried out the new Essie Gel Couture this week for testing purposes and oh my shining, shimmering, splendid! Firstly, I have to talk about the super chic bottles. I feel like the shape of them made Essie 10x more chic. Applying the formula was so incredibly easy! This is also an important factor in choosing a nail polish for me because after all these years of painting my nails I can still make a bit of a mess. The curve-hugging brush makes it easy to apply and results in little to no mess outside of the nail. I honestly think I had like one spot to fix which isn't bad at all! I applied two coats of the gel couture and then added the top coat which is what gives the color its gel-like shine. The photos I included in this post really don't do it justice!

A lot of product does go on then brush so you do have to be extra careful when applying. It also dries SO FAST so you can’t make any mistakes or you’ll have to start over. I do prefer it to dry fast though. I did two coats of the color and now one coat of top coat and it lasted me almost 2 weeks before chipping. The brush is very wide making it quick to apply, but I found that every small imperfection in my application was visible with this polish. I had to do a lot of touching up to make it the edges look good which I don’t normally have to do. That being said, it dried nicely and hardened well.
