It is easy to apply and the brush is the perfect width and the selection of colors is great. While it doesn't last as long as a salon gel manicure, it is definitely a better alternative to a regular manicure done at home. Lasts longer and doesn't chip as easily. Definitely recommend!

I’m never one to paint my nails, but any time I do I use essie and I just love this color and how long wear they are! I purchased the gel couture is part of a contest, however I already bought a few before and loved them

I have been an Essie user forever, and waited awhile to see if the Gel Couture line was going to live up to the classic, and I’m so disappointed I waited! These polishes are long lasting and gorgeous! The consistency is pretty good, and easy to use, especially in the richer shades. I do wish that there was a wider brush, and that they were slightly more self leveling. Aside from that, I am 100% happy with my Essie Gel Couture plpolishes, and will certainly continue to use them.

As a professional nail Tech I love gel colors I love essie colors !! The shades , the fast dry and more, but this gel I love it for far!!!!!! The consistancy is so pure and I dont need apply 2 or 3 times likes other!! I really want to try all color on my costume and my fan page to people can see this amazing colors

It does seem to loose its smooth finish after a few days. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes.

this color is absolutely incredible, and the first coat is almost perfect by itself, although a second coat definitely makes it looks more polished! the brush on the gel couture is my favorite, perfect for painting nails and distributes color evenly! went on easy and smooth and dried down pretty quickly. it’s definitely a great option for people who don’t want to splash out on a proper gel set up! i did receive this product for free to test in exchange for an honest review!

I tried Essie's Couture line because it promises a gel manicure without the need for a light or specialized removal process. I won't use it again because it chips almost immediately. I followed the instructions to the letter, including going against my best judgment and not using a base coat. While the color of the polish is beautiful and the brush is the best I've used, because it chips almost immediately, neither of those points make this polish worth the price. After the first manicure chipped on day two, I removed the polish and tried again, following the instructions to the letter but my polish still chipped after a day, which rarely happens when I follow my usual process and use my usual products. After the second manicure failed, I had to soak my nails in denture cleanser to remove the stains caused by the "no base coat" instruction before I could re-do my manicure--the third in four days--so my nails would look decent for the holidays.

I love the new Gel Couture formula because it is very glossy and wears like iron. While I don't get 2 weeks out of it, I do get several days, which is a vast improvement over any other polish. The flaw in this formula is that the polish thickens and gets gloppy about halfway through the bottle. Any suggestions for remedying this, Essie? I hate to waste half a bottle.

I received a free bottle of the Essie gel polish with topcoat. Color was bright and cheerful. Bottle shape was a bit odd to maneuver while painting my toes. The base coat seems to dry a tad fast, I know, usually fast drying is great but when it dries before you even finish a swipe of the brush, that's bad. Left lines and clumped a little. I think it lasted a shorter amount of time than other gels I've tried.

I received a sample from #Pinchme the day after getting a manicure. So I was delayed trying it, but that also allowed to do a comparison. The Essie nail polish with top coat actually lasted 4 days longer than the professional manicure lasted. I was very impressed and have since bought more (I was the fondest of my free color) colors.

I received a free sample of Essie from PINCHme and both my co-worker and I tried it. We got a lovely shade with a topcoat. I thought it looked very nice once applied and had an extra sheen to it. And a cool shaped bottle as well! Unfortunately, it did not last all that long. My co-worker is a mom of one and we both tried this on Thursday morning at work. By Monday, we both had the nail polish flake and/or chip off. Mine just flaked right off while I was having a beer at Oktoberfest, and my co-worker's chipped off quite a bit while tending her household and son over the weekend. All in all, it was very pretty, but didn't hold up well.

I received this nail polish as a sample from Pinchme. My regular nail polish usually lasts about 3 to 5 days. When I used Essie and the gel top coat the polish lasted up to 8 days. The finish was true to color and shiny. The gel coat did not change that, it looked the same. I did my regular routine and housework and it did not chip or fade until the 8th day.

I received this duo of polish and gel coat as a free sample through PinchMe. I am an occasional nail polish user. I would use it more but usually have trouble with it lasting. This nail polish though really surpassed my expectations. I put it on with the gel coat and was surprised that it lasted nearly two weeks!!! Amazing. I have 5 daughters and I let them try it as well and even with their busy hands playing outside and in the sandbox, riding bike and other kids' activities, it withstood their heavy activity level. I was very impressed, and loved the color too!!

I received this product set through Pinchme in exchange for a honest review. I have maintained a weekly pedicure for 17 yrs. I have tried most brands and mostly stick with OPI. I have had gel nails applied once. I really liked this product! I love the smaller bottle size, because who ever using the bigger bottles up. It's finish was nice and shiny and it lasted without chipping for the entire week. Best of all, it was just as easy to remove as a non gel polish. I will be shopping for other colors!

I received this as a sample from pinchme. I have natural nails currently after having acrylic nails for forever. I usually find that polish stays on my natural nail for about 3-4 days. On my 10 year old daughter it stays on 1-2 days. I painted her nails and mine with the Essie gel couture. It's a beautiful color and it lasted a good 8-9 days. My daughter got about 5-6. What I couldn't believe was that it stayed on after she took a bath. For some reason usually I can paint her nails and normal polish would come off immediately but not this polish!
