Stained my nails

I love the color, but it stains so bad! Even with base coat. I’ve tried a few base coats and nothing seems to prevent the staining. I love the color, but it’s not worth the months it takes to grow out the staining.

Hi there Omgitsaclaire, we can see this is not the kind of result any of us want to see when removing nail enamel. Some people are more likely to experience staining from intensely pigmented polish shades. Those with dry nails are especially at risk. You are definitely doing the right thing by using a base coat. You may need to give the base coat a few more minutes to set so it doesn’t absorb any of the pigment. If you see staining during polish removal, lightly buff the nail to remove polish residue from the surface of the nail plate. I was gifted this color. It is nice but I prefer something a little brighter and pinker. It does suit my skin tone well and the formula is very self leveling and full coverage with 2 coats.

This is my go-to for a nude style that isn't beige or pinky. The undertones are more orangey, providing a more sophisticated full-punch appearance. It is great as a fall/autumn shade, but I do wear it year-round.

I'm obsessed with this color. It's a very hard -to- find warm pink.. It's a somewhat deep hot pink, but has a warm undertone. When I got the bottle, I thought the color looked strange, like a mid toned pink with an almost orange undertone to it. But once I got two coats on, it's amazing against my pale, mostly neutral, slightly warm skintone.
