[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This base coat dries fairly fast, prepping the nail for the color coat. I used this with 2 coats of polish, and topped with a quick dry top coat, as I always do, allowing each to dry for 2 minutes before applying the next. My nails lasted about a day before chipping, so not entirely impressed by this. Just okay.

Essie did not disappoint me in the “Here to Stay” base coat. I applied the base coat and Essie nail polish+top coat and I feel like the base coat not only extended the life of my nail polish but gave it a “newly” done look for a longer period of time!

When I use this base coat it easily lasts me two weeks, but I removed it then because I wanted a different nail color. Nail polish never lasts this long for me. The polish on the nail tips never chipped off while using this. This base coat works great, better than any others I've used in the past.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ESSIE - HERE TO STAY BASE COAT is a very good base coat polish that makes my polish out last more than what I'm use to. I always have to polish my nails every few days before I used the HERE TO STAY POLISH. I am so happy that my nails have lasted for over a week, it has a strong smell but it doesn't linger long and the polish is not thick like other clear coats so you won't need much. I love my nails and recommend you to purchase this base coat if you want long lasting nails.

My nail color stay on longer after using Essie here to stay. I love this product it works great for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My manicure lasts a lot longer with this base coat. The brush makes it very easy to apply, it spreads the base coat very well and evenly. This base coat dries really quickly and leaves a smooth base for my nail polish. I am definitely going to stick to this base coat. On the picture I used the Essie base coat and two coats of the Essie nail polish n.112 ‘mademoiselle’. It looks so pretty! Buy it! This product will definitely make your manicure last longer, you won’t be disappointed!

When using this before I painted my nails my polish lasted much longer than normal. I also felt like my nails looked healthier after taking off the polish then they normally do after removing a week old nail polish.

I read the directions and am not very knowledgeable about nails; but there were many steps in order to complete the process. I did as instructed and after about a week and a half the edges wore off. The nails still look OK if you're not inspecting them.

Usually, whether it's a top or base coat anything that goes on my nails never stay on for a day or two. However, this product stayed on my nails for a week and it came off because I took it off. I really like the mademoiselle. The pink is really soft in color, makes my nails look really nice.

Using the Essie here to stay product kept my nails painted for noticeably longer, and once I took the polish off, there was no staining, even with black polish. Overall a really great product if you want to lengthen the lifespan of your manicure.

I want to say that the pink polish is absolutely beautiful and natural looking. The here to stay base coat has really kept the polish looking great. It adheres the color without any chipping or lifting the color away. My nails so needed this base coat where my nails looked freshly painted with all the cleaning in many different products. It held up to the submission of many different cleaning products. Great product.

I have been using only nail polish strips or vinyl nail wraps because I have not been able to keep polish on without chipping for more then 12 hours. I am admittedly rough on my hands. I work in healthcare and wash my hands 20 times a day. Which destroys my manicures instantly. This base coat is a nail saver. I am on day 5 and have no chips. At. All. The dry time was super fast! I applied 1 coat of base and paired it with 2 coats of Essie mademoiselle. I didn’t use any top coat because I did not have one available. My nails still look brand new! I am so excited to start painting my nails more and doing more nail art now that I know they will last longer! I also love how smooth and clean it goes on.
