I’ve gone through 3 bottles of this product and recently bought my 4th. I noticed it is much pinker now and really liked the previous version. I thought maybe I got the wrong color but both bottles say pretty much the same thing. It’s still my favorite, i just don’t put more than one coat on so I get the lighter color.

When I took my old nail polish off this week my nails were peeling, which has never happened to me before. I sought out this product after trying 2 different brands “repairing” polish that were pretty terrible. At the store, there were two bottles labeled Minimally Modest but they were noticeably different, even after I shook them. I chose the one that was more pink vs. peach. I applied two coats and it looked pretty at first, but in daylight it’s really streaky. I think the streaks would be filled with three coats but the color would have been too light and opaque for a sheer polish. The formula seems smooth, feels good on my nails, and is long wearing, so I came here looking for another color. I’ll give it one more try and hope for better results.

I searched all over for this color and I'm so, so disappointed. I had to pay all sorts of extras to get it here to Alaska and it's nothing like the swatches I've seen. I think the best way to describe this is a glitter polish and not a shimmery metallic one. I really hope Power Plunge isn't the same when I try it here in a bit. It looks a little finer.

My go-to! No nonsense, no drama, quick coverage! This is my favorite shade in my Essie TLC collection. It's an everyday sophisticated platinum-esque lavender/lilac that is stunning! It's like jewelry for your nails! I love that the formula treats my weak, dry nails.) Love, love, love it! The best!

About a week ago, I bought the gloss fit Treat Live & Color strengthening polish. I prepped my nails and prior to applying the nail polish, I used an alcohol wipe (a little alcohol prep pad) to wipe any oils off my nails. I applied a thin coat, then about 30 minutes later I applied another thin coat. The next day, the polish was peeling off my nails - less than 24 hours later. I tried it again a few days later, and the polish continues to peel off my nails in less than 24 hours. However, I’ll try the polish again and change my nail prep as that could be the reasoning.

Love this because it’s a nice sheer pink color and also treats the nails. Great for when you are trying to grow out your nails

Love the color and how my nails are strengthened from using this brand, bu as pretty as this saturated color is, it doesn’t last at all. In the several times I’ve tried it, it chips within Day 1 as opposed to the lighter shimmer colors I love such as Tonal Taupe or Loving Hue. Maybe the shimmers are more durable?

Nice colour but the formula for this colour is terrible! Watery and patchy consistency. Have several of the tlc range which are all great except this one.

I loved the color but this nail polish peels off after almost a week of wearing it. I would have to remove it with nail polish and reapply, taking away the concept that it helps take care of my nails when really it felt like I was stripping my nails more. It was really disappointing. I will not be buying another product.

Colour has nothing to do with pictures, more like a dirty pink. My skin tone is olive Mediterranean and the colour looks very pale as opposed to the warmish pink that it shows.

I was excited to buy this product as I know essie is a quality brand however what a disappointment! It never happened to me before (with much cheaper brands) that just on the second day the entire polish peels off in on piece from my nail! Totally frustrating!

I came to check out the reviews because I normally love essie polish but this just peeled right off! From reading through the reviews it sounds like it’s definitely happened for others but not all. I followed the directions (use on a clean nail, etc) but every time it peels off within a day! Bought mine at Walgreens, wondering if there was a bad batch or something?

This looks nothing like the picture. I thought it would look like Ballet Slipper. But it is white and goes on streaky. Does not give full coverage as indicated on the bottle. I use all Essie products and I was not happy with color or formula.

I love this color. My sister had it on and I had to order it at the time. Love the color a lot. I would get a second one to have on hand.

This is the first bottle of polish I have ever used completely I mean bottom of the container! 2 coats you are done!

I bought this color as it’s a shade I generally love. I don’t understand how there is this discrepancy in the lasting power of this formula but for me it hardly chips in a week’s time. I’ve been using tlc colors for over a month. Stronger? Yes, absolutely. Less peeling? No, but there could be any number of personal factors leading to that result. All in all, I highly recommend the product and love the color “mint condition!”

This color looks slightly different than the bottle, but I still loved it! Easy application and quick drying makes this polish so fun and easy to use, plus I can already see a difference in the strength of my nails. Amazing!!

I bought this last week and I just used it for the first time! I can already feel a difference in the strength of my nails, the copper color is gorgeous and looks fabulous! Goes on smoothly, dries quickly, doesn’t smear or smudge, it’s perfect! This is my second bottle of treat love and color and I will definitely be buying more.

I have two different colors of this tlc polish and I have been using it for 3 weeks now. I love this polish I apply 2 coats and then every other day ish I apply another coat and it lasts easily for a full week. The sheer is more forgiving but the full coverage lasted too I just had to make sure I added polish to the tips. Bonus tip I bought the gloss clear and applied a coat on top for added shine. Love this polish!

Love this polish. 2 coats is enough for great color intensity, coverage and shine. The color matches the bottle almost perfectly, which is rare. It is a great metallic shade without looking like I was attacked by glitter fairies. The wide brush makes it fast and easy to apply and it goes on smooth. I can't say yet how it holds up, but I'll edit my review if it doesn't hold up like it should. So often I buy nail polish that's beautiful in the bottle, but not on my nails. I've wasted a lot of money on products that don't look good on me or don't look the same as the bottle.

First off I love the color! I wont say it dries really fast but faster than others. It has strengthened my nails a bit. One of my ring fingers has a split down the middle from slamming my hand in a car door 20 years ago and it's hard to keep that nail long, it often tears because its thin at the split. So far with the TLC, it hasn't torn like it does with other polishes. I will definitely continue using TLC!! After reading a few reviews, I'm surprised to see people complaining that their polish is peeling almost immediately. I cant say that I'm extremely rough with my nails but I do work full time as a cashier and am constantly using my hands and I have yet to have any issue besides the usual fading caused by constantly opening paper bags all day. But of course, a quick cover coat at the end of the night fixes it. Seriously no real complaints. Love it!

If you want something subtle just to put on your nails for an everyday, healthy look this is it! I’m not a big fan of bold colors and this is perfect. It’s adds just a little something to brighten your nails. Love this. The photo is after two coats in natural lighting.

I love "sheers to you". I discovered this Nail care this summer. The bottle is half used now as I tried to only use this product and not any colour nail polish for a while to see if this helps my nails to be healthy. To be honest I put it on in 4 layers because then it has my favorite color - not to clear but still light and sophisticated. But be carefull 4 layers need a long time to dry! Better put 2 and the next day 2 more. And what should I say... These nails in the photo are mine!! I recommend this nail care and one tipp girls. My pitiful nails have finally stopped breaking and are actually growing! Yay! I started using this Treat Love & Color polish (2 coats), and 5 days later, my nails were already stronger. I've been reapplying every 5 days, and now 15 days later, I have nails! I also like that you don't have to use a base coat.

I used this polish, and while it says you don't need a base coat or top coat, I used them anyway. My nails were stronger within a couple days and the polish has really stayed on. It's the best!

After the first time i used this product my nails which were very healthy, started flaking off and breaking very easily. also, the color was much more grey than the pictures make it seem :(

Bought this a couple weeks ago hoping that would stay on my nails longer than three days with all the hand and dishwashing I do. I was pleasantly surprised that it it lasted more than a week and makes my nails feel harder.

I bought this a couple days ago and immediately painted it onto my toe nails. The color itself looks really good on my nails, and I have seen some improvement in the coloring of my nails. I can't wait to see the final results. I do, however, have one question for Essie or a knowing customer. People have been growing more and more aware of what they put on their bodies, and studies have shown that after only two weeks of wearing the average drug store nail polish, a chemical called triphenyl phosphate gets into your bloodstream, which can have many harmful effects on the female reproductive system. This can mean anything from period cramps to childbirth. Some studies even show that triphenyl phosphate in your bloodstream can make it harder for you to lose weight. I was very disapointed to hear this, because some of the cutest nail polish colors can be found in the cheaper brands that are easiest to get, and likely have horrible chemicals in them.The TLC line is supposed to be good for your nails, and so I was wondering, and hoping, that it wouldn't have triphenyl phosphate in it. Does someone know about this? It would be a great relief to know.

This was my first time trying any product from the TLC line and it saddens me to say that not even 24 hours later and more than half of the polish has flaked off. I love Essie products in general and have never been disappointed with any of them...until now. Perhaps the ones with color perform better, but I'm not paying to find out.
