This was my first time trying out Essie's Gel Couture nail polish collection and I am very happy with this discovery! In terms of the color, I spent a long time debating between different Essie pink shades, as they have many available options. I was looking for a classy pink that was clearly pink but still somewhat discreet, as the other pink shades seemed too neutral, too white, or too sheer. After reading other people's comments about this specific color's sheerness, I worried it would take way too many layers of polish to get my desired result. Do not worry!!! The 1st layer was indeed very sheer, but after the 2nd layer, the pink color was already more visible, and I ended up doing 3 layers to get the results I had envisioned - a true soft pink (though it leans more towards a warm tone). I am new to doing my own nails at home and I though it was very smooth and easy to apply on the nail. It has a beautiful shiny finish that looks and feels like gel, but keep in mind that I also used a base coat, the Essie Gel Couture top coat, and allowed the nail polish to dry in between applying layers! Considering that I do cleaning and wash the dishes around the house, these have lasted me a surprisingly longer time, whereas regular nail polish only lasts me about 3-4 days. This picture is 1 week into having painted my nails, and while I did notice some shrinkage around the nail, the polish remains intact with minimal to no chipping. Overall, I am very happy with the results and would definitely recommend Essie's Gel Couture nail polish collection (I am personally going to purchase in more colors).

This Gossamer Garments nail polish is so beautiful and natural looking. I am one of those girls who likes wearing natural nails, but also wants them to look clean and beautiful and this is exactly what the nail polish does. My nails look clean, but he only adds shine and a little bit of color mostly enhancing the color I already have my nails. Makes them look healthy and shiny. I would definitely buy this again.

Color is very cute and subtle so I used it as a under layer before putting a translucent glittery nail polish to make the color pop out more and It seem to work pretty well. I can also top it off with one of the Essie second step coats like the glazed chrome. It dries quicker than most regular nail polish but still takes some time with multiple coats. It lasts almost a week before some chipping but covering it up with more polish is easy.

It looks so natural on my nails and I would probably wear it on its own but since it came as a pack with a chrome top coat I only tested it that way. It dries fairly quickly and is easy to apply an even coat. When it comes to the longevity of it I can only assume it would start coming off just as fast or even faster as it did with the combination of this nail polish and the top coat, which was within a few hours. I am a mom and I'm constantly cooking and cleaning without gloves so I'm attributing this as the main cause as to why it started coming off so soon, so I'm guessing to someone who doesn't use their hands as much it might last longer.

This color is definitely wearable on its own if you want a simple, elegant pale pink, but it’s also a nice base for French Manicures or a shimmery/chrome finish. You’ll need a few layers to completely cover the nail, but the polish dries nicely and doesn’t clump.

I did 3 coats to achieve this color. When I added the top coat it made a nice pearly pink. I plan to reuse this product anytime I want to wear my natural nails.
