I love this color but it chipped off almost immediately and then, when removing the polish, it stained my nails. Pretty disappointing.

Hi there, we would be disappointed too! Some people are more likely to experience staining from intensely pigmented polish shades. Those with dry nails are especially at risk. If you see staining during polish removal, lightly buff the nail to remove polish residue from the surface of the nail plate. That being said, this quick dry nail enamel goes on bare nails, without a base coat, so it may not be a good choice for your nails. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was just right for this. There is no scent to this other than acetone like all nail polishes. I'm not sure the price of this. The color was bright and stayed on for 3 weeks without chipping.

I don't think I'll ever use non-quick dry nail polish again. I've used this twice since I purchased it and I love how quickly it dries. I have had no trouble with smudges while sleeping etc. Even with such a dark color, I have found it to stay nice and shiny.

Hello KT2B. We are so sorry to hear our polish left some polish staining behind when removing. For future removals, we suggest to soak your cotton pad in polish remover, and then allow it to sit on the nail for 5 seconds. Pull the cotton pad vertically down the nail from cuticle to tip—never rub back and forth horizontally. Fold the cotton and continue to remove any remaining polish by pulling the cotton vertically down the nail. Some people are more likely to experience staining from intensely pigmented polish shades. Color glides on smoothly and I only applied one coat. Odor doesn’t bother me it’s a pretty standard smell. Drying time wasn’t too long either.

I have to put in more effort to make sure my nails are streak-free. Other than that, I love the colors and plan to use them all summer.

You don’t even need two coats with this product one swipe and your nails are done! I was not expecting it to truly be as quick-drying as it was this dries within 1 minute it is perfect for on the go nails or if you’re in a rush. I have been using Essie for years and love their nail polishes but these expressie ones are next level. I recieved this product for free from Essie and Influenster in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this color was also not for me as it was too warm of a pink vs a light and doesn’t look as good since I’m pale. My only real complaint with this nail polish is that while it does dry fast it bubbles and you don’t realize it until it’s fully dried. You also can’t put a top coat on it with out it drying weirdly as well.

Hello finessejxss, thank you for giving the expressie color 'power moves' a try. We wish you could see the results you were hoping for with this hot orchid pink with blue undertones. This fast dry formula goes on bare nails in 2 coats, and you're right, no top coat. However, we wish we knew why you see bubbles, none of our nail enamels should look anything but perfect by the second coat.

I do suggest after dipping the brush into the nail polish is to start with wider nail plates as it can cause the polish to overflow from the actual nail. Also you will need to apply a top coat to prevent chipping, I did not and have started to see a few on my nails after a few days.

If I’m running low on time for my nails before I have to head out the door, I would reach for this one. It seems to last about a week or so before chipping occurs WITHOUT a top coat - I wanted to see how it would perform by itself. I will say it does have a strong smell which is pretty normal for most nail polishes! Adorable pink-y purple-y shade!!
