[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took the opportunity to try this polish because I was interested in the “quick dry” claims. Upon first application, you can tell this formula is different from regular polish. It’s very thick which can lead to a goopiness since it starts drying down immediately. This also makes it difficult to work with as you add coats, because it doesn’t always even out the way regular polish does. If you make a mistake or bump your nail, it can cause patchiness or texture when you go over with the next layer. The quick dry is relatively quick, sure, but it still takes about 15-20 minutes before you’re safe to start using it. The first time I used it, I messed up my thumbnail after 5 minutes, and it was impossible to fix in a pretty way because the original layers were already quite dry. The end result wasn’t pretty, and it was the first area to chip within 24 hours. My second try went better. Unfortunately the lavender (virtual velocity) color is much prettier in the bottle. The glitters in it don’t sparkle on the nail, but they do add an unpleasant texture. I wish the finish was shinier. I liked the rosy color (remote friends) better. Overall I like these polishes, and they’re good in a rush, but I would rather take the time for a regular polish that is less finicky.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a sucker for essie polishes so when this came into my snaps I was excited! I loved the shades and it was easy to apply!! It lived up to its name that it dried SUPER quick too. I would seriously want to look for more shades and I hope they make more! Like other essie polishes, it’s a little pricey but if we end up going into lockdown again this would be a great idea!! 12/10 recommend. Definitely will be purchasing more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the pale lavender color Virtual Velocity of this polish. It has a bit of glitter which was a surprise because the color looks solid on the pictures. However I did not like the brush. It was too thick, large and not flexible enough to glide. The polish dries really quick as advertised. My nails were dry within couple of minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The formula is a little thick but it’s nothing clumpy or unmanageable. It’s actually pretty opaque first coat. This color is so flattering on my tan olive skin tone, doesn’t make me look ashy at all. The sparkle in this shade is super subtle but it just adds that little oomf to the mani.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very quick drying. I found I needed a minimum of three coats to make the color really show. I didn’t really get the angled brush thing. I didn’t notice a difference while painting. Overall I like and would buy other shades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Expressie nail polish definitely dried very quickly which I loved! I only gave it 4 stars because while applying, since it does dry quickly, the nail polish in the bottle started to catch the air, so it started to get a little thick while applying my second coat, I found myself having to screw the cap on and shaking it a few times to kind of get back to its consistency. It applied beautifully but it did clump a bit. The colors I have didn’t show up as an option for the review. I got the colors Checked In & Dial It Up. (Don’t mind the ridges in my nails, that’s from getting Nexgen all the time lol)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t gotten any new nail polishes in awhile, so I was excited to grab these shades from the Essie Expressie Gamer Collection. I received cash back from Influenster and Essie for trying this product and sharing my honest review. I bought Virtual Velocity (a shimmery lavender shade) and Don’t Glitch Get Better (a deep shimmery fuchsia pink). Let me start with the things I was disappointed by… I loved the color of this polish initially, but the “shimmer” was more of a chunky silver glitter. It was reminiscent of those cheap nail polishes you’d get as a kid from the dollar store. Very “My First Nail Polish” vibes. Not my style personally, but if you love an obnoxiously chunky glitter that isn’t really integrated into the color of the polish, this color may be for you. As for the drying time, it was only slightly faster than my usual polishes. So I wasn’t supremely impressed with that, even though that’s the main claim to fame for the Expressie polishes. Now, for the pros,… The consistency of this nail polish was perfect. Not too goopy or thick, but not watery thin either. It was easy to paint my nails with a light coat every time. More importantly, I absolutely LOVED the angled brush! It made getting a clean line on every nail effortless, whether I was using my dominant hand or not. I would buy many more Essie polishes if this was their standard brush shape!!! Overall, I wasn’t a fan of this collection but I would consider buying more Essie Expressie polishes if the angled brush became the expected brush shape for every bottle.

Someone even asked me what polish I used:). It’s hard to find nail polish with a unique color but this light lavender with the glitter is definitely unique! It’s almost iridescent! I wish influenster let me post a video of this color in the sun! I’m obsessed!! It also last longer than other polish I have! Excuse my nails in the pictures I am not the best at painting them and I definitely need a manicure…

However, the color is gorgeous and it has the perfect amount of sparkle. It was very easy to apply, 2 coats was perfect coverage. Getting it off was a chore. Overall, I am happy with the product but will double up on the top coats in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this shade. It has a very subtle shimmer that I love and isn’t too glittery. It is totally opaque with two shades. My only critique is that the polish is a bit thick and the brush itself has too many bristles/needs to be flatter. It’s a bit challenging applying in comparison to other polishes I have.
