Color is perfect! Essie has saturated their pink polishes with sheers which aren't good. Minimalistic is just the right combo of sheer and opaque and I love it.

There is nothing minimal about this shade. It's a BRIGHT, milky, pink. It does not look like these photos. Since it can't be returned, I have to put another shade over it.

When it launched, minimalistic was the palest opaque pink -- so pale, it was almost white. It was a dream, and the name made sense. Now, it's bubble gum cotton candy Barbie pink, which is fine but a totally different vibe. Don't buy this one if you're doing it because you saw a milky pink on Instagram or somewhere else on social media. Those posts aren't the same version of minimalistic that's available now. That said, if you want loud pink, this is your jam.

I’ve tried on so many pinks - sugar daddy too sheer, sugar daddy too white. Fiji is loud compared to minimalistic. I don’t wear anything else since purchasing this color. Absolutely lobe!,,

I was disappointed with how many coats (3+) it took for an opaque look, only to have it literally slide off in the shower. It turns out this polish never fully dries. I love essie, but would not recommend minimalistic.

Hello LeahM. We want to understand what happened just as much as you do. This super pale pink has a cream finish and after the second coat, your color should be perfect. A full manicure with base coat, 2 coats of color and top coat should not take more than 15 minutes to full dry. Today I tried a new salon and a new shade and I am just over the moon with delight. Given that I was the only customer in this new salon (it even smelled new), I was more than a little tickled with pampering and am just delighted with how this color looks. It is not a sheer and it is not as light as the Essie photos indicate. The pink is "there" but not in a distracting way. A lovely color to wear if you are in the mood to feel like a lady.

I have been purchasing this color for quite some time - It has become my new neutral......I just love it and cannot believe you do not have any in stock for purchase. The others, Ballet Slipper, Fiji.....I have purchased but they are just not quite right for the color I wanted.....MINIMALIST IS PERFECT!!! I am always complimented on my nails and everyone wants to know the color of the polish. I will keep looking.

This is literally the perfect nude color nail polish for me. I am a fan of Essie's thinner brushes. Their formula is pretty good and tends to last 6-7 days for me. They are also not too expensive. I would recommend this brand and this nude color (I have light skin).

it's a great neutral shade. You definitely need quite a few coats to get a solid shade instead of something see-through but the see-through lock is also kind of cute. I'm still struggling to give it five stars because it definitely makes my nails brittle from wearing

This nail polish makes me feel complete. It applies very effortlessly and dries fairly quickly. Its some of the longest lasting polished Ive tried. This color goes with just about everything I own and I cant get enough of it.

this nail polish doesnt look cheap after it dries. i like the perfect fluidity and viscosity of this nail polish. this makes it easier to paint without funkiness or bubbles and gunkieness.

This is the PERFECT nude pink. I love it so much! It is my go to color! Essie has great nail polish and they are the brand that I prefer to use! You really get what you pay for. They are more expensive than other brands, but its worth it.

I love the Color of this Essie nail polish. My biggest problem with it is it goes on very streaky. It requires several coats to get to the color and then it is still shows streaks. I do not believe I would purchase this again.

Essie makes amazing colors for nail polish! I love all of the different collections they come out with quite often! The polish always applies smoothly, dries well, and is long lasting! These polishes do not chip as easily as other brands. Especially if you apply the top coat, which you should always do with your nail polish!

Such a beautiful, light color. Great for fair skinned girls. Youll need multiple coats or else it will just look like a clear polish. Nice formula but really thin. This has an almost violet undertone to it, making it great for spring and summer
